About Us

We would like to introduce ourselves to you. We are iServe Ministries. We are two couples who feel called by God to help bridge the gap between the churches and their community surrounding them.

Our purpose is to show others the love of Christ by helping meet their needs. We want to help local churches get involved in meeting the needs of their communities. We want to be the truest example of Matthew 25:34-40:

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.  For I was hungry, and you fed me.   I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.  I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’  “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink?  Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing?  When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’  “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’

We would love to have you join us in serving our community and teaching them about the Bread of Life, and the Living Water.

Serving Jesus....

Jason and Kristen Ellis

Jason grew up in Norcross, Georgia. During his senior year of high school he
felt God's call to become a youth minister. Kristen grew up in Suwanee, Georgia
where she and Jason met. Jason served as a youth pastor until early 2011 when he
and Kristen felt God leading them out of youth ministry and into ministering to
the community. Jason and Kristen were married in May of 2011.

Jason and Kristen helped start iServe Ministries in early 2011. They are a great sounding board for Jeff and Sherry.

Jason owns his construction company and does everything from woodworking to landscaping. Kristen works as a pharmacist. Jason and Kristen have one daughter. When they have time off, Jason and Kristen enjoy spending time with their family and their two dogs.
Jeff and Sherry Grant

Jeff & Sherry were both born and raised in Orlando, FL.They moved to Jefferson, GA, in November 2006. They believed God called them here to minister, but didn’t feel the call to start iServe Ministries until late in 2010.

Jeff and Sherry have 3 beautiful daughters, and 3 awesome grandchildren. In 2013 they felt God call them to do more with the ministry, and Jeff quit his well-paying full-time job to run iServe more full-time. We are able to do this with the support of many.

Jeff currently has two part-time jobs, one with Best Buy, where he works two days a week at their warehouse in Suwannee, Georgia, and the other at the church we attend, as the Student Pastor. The rest of the income for the Grant home comes from families who believe in them as missionaries to Northeast Georgia. Jeff gets to preach on occasion and is a great teacher. He also loves sports of all kinds; both he and Sherry are huge Florida Gator fans!

Sherry runs the family home and homeschools their youngest daughter. Sherry also helps in many aspects of iServe, like keeping track of finances, volunteers, and the backpack ministry. Sherry also gets to sing on the praise team at church, and is involved in a local Bible Study.

More than anything Jeff and Sherry desire to see their community, and more, won for the Lord. They hope to help people see their need for eternal satisfaction by feeding on the Word Himself. Feeding people to meet their physical needs is just a vehicle to feed people the Bread of Life, and the Living Water.

Please pray for Jeff, Sherry, Jason, and Kristen as they continue to seek God’s will for their lives, their family, and this ministry.
